The 50JA industrial joystick is built around mechanical configurability — allowing the operating feel, return behaviour and functions to be adapted around the machine and the operator.
What You Can't See
Not every machine
should feel the same.
Neither should its joystick.
What makes the 50JA interesting is not only what you see above the panel. Much of its capability is hidden inside the mechanical construction.
The platform can be configured for different operating patterns, spring-return behaviour and operator functions. Application-specific mechanical configurations can also be used to create different behaviour in the X and Y axes.
The result is a joystick that can be selected around how the machine should actually feel to the operator — not simply around dimensions and electrical output.

Independent Axis Feel
The mechanical behaviour can be adapted to the application, including different spring characteristics for the X and Y axes where required.

Detents
Application-specific detent positions can provide clear tactile feedback at selected operating points.

Friction Hold
Configurations with friction can allow an axis to remain in the selected position instead of automatically returning to centre.

Switch Functions
Up to six switches and application-specific handle functions can integrate additional machine controls directly into the joystick.

A joystick does more than generate an electrical signal. Spring force, travel, return behaviour and tactile feedback all influence how the machine feels during operation.
