Detect the Level Before It Becomes Critical

Monitor the liquid. Not the consequence.

Level monitoring provides an early indication that a critical fluid level has been reached before the condition develops into a lubrication, cooling or system problem.

Unlike mechanical float switches, BEDIA CLS sensors contain no mechanically moving parts. Their compact, vibration-resistant design makes them particularly suitable for demanding machine environments.

BEDIA CLS

Simple principle. Robust monitoring.

01

Capacitive Sensing

Liquid level is detected by measuring the change in capacitance when the insulated sensor electrode is surrounded by the monitored medium.

02

No Moving Parts

The sensing principle avoids floats or other mechanically moving components that can be affected by dirt, wear or vibration.

03

Compact Installation

The compact sensor concept allows level monitoring directly at the required warning or switching point in a tank or reservoir.

04

Flexible Orientation

BEDIA level monitoring sensors can be mounted in different installation orientations to suit the geometry of the application.

Level Monitoring Technology

Designed around the medium.

Different liquids have different electrical properties. BEDIA provides CLS variants for both electrically conductive and electrically non-conductive media.

Principle Capacitive liquid-level detection.
Function Monitoring of a defined minimum or maximum liquid level.
Mechanical Design No mechanically moving or adjustable sensing parts.
Installation Sensors can be installed in different mounting orientations.
Output Options Different switching and analogue output variants are available depending on sensor family and application.
Media Variants

Water-based or oily media.

The correct sensor variant is selected according to the electrical properties of the medium being monitored.

Electrically Conductive Media

Coolant & Water-Based Fluids

Sensor variants are available for media such as coolant, water-glycol mixtures, fresh water and other electrically conductive liquids.

Electrically Non-Conductive Media

Oil, Fuel & Hydraulic Fluids

Dedicated variants are available for media such as engine oil, hydraulic oil and fuels.
